The minimal starter can now expose Brain and Mind skills in its own workspace without running the user-wide installer.
project_discovery.py starter-check|starter-write --root …resolves registered source repos through the canonical Mind map, reuses existing discovery rules and creates relative links only under the workspace.claude/skills.Scripts Changed
bin/project_discovery.py: opt-in local starter modes, explicit Brain/Mind requirements, collision and protected-path preflight, idempotent writes preserving unrelated skills. 30 discovery/installer tests pass in the independent combined run; strict Sphinx build passes. Real synthetic integration generated a minimal Mind, installed/checked 40 local links and rendered one public project without an assistant in an independently named Scientist. Fresh Heart STALE solely for absent current-source release rehearsal; no RED/YELLOW reasons. Independent review CLEAN at 4db12a8 after fixing the symlink-root path calculation and independently verifying the regression.
Refs #517, scientist-adoption-pilot. This validates local discovery/configuration only. No Claude model session was invoked; actual fresh-session conversational acceptance remains an explicit checkpoint.
